Vivian Jenkins Wilson

Vivian Jenkins Wilson, age 89, died January 15, 2014. She was born in Midville, Georgia on April 21, 1924 to parents John E. Jenkins and Minnie Hollomon Jenkins. Vivian was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles Wilson and her five siblings. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Donna Wilson of Miami, Florida; Wayne and Margie Wilson of Marietta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Kimberly Wilson Chase and her husband Michael of Raleigh, North Carolina; Robert Wilson and his wife Malika of New York, New York; Brian Wilson and his wife Krystina of Chicago, Illinois; Taylor Wilson and David Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia; and two great grandchildren, Sydney Chase and Kyle Chase as well as nieces and nephews. Vivian had a full life and on many occasions she and Charles could be found taking trips to the Varsity and enjoying drives and walks around nearby Chastain Park where they lived for many years raising their family. Vivian spent her last year at Manor Care Rehab of Marietta where the staff and care givers, especially Christine, were both professional and compassionate. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00, Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements by H.M.
