To the family of Wanda Dockens,

My husband (Tyrone) and l have known Wanda for over 20 years. She was our sister in Christ at Renaissance church of Christ (formerly West End church of Christ in Atlanta,GA)

May it comfort you to know she was loved by so many. Praying for your and family at this time and days to come. I will always cherish her visit to our home. Schyla and Tyrone Jackson

Wanda was a friend. I met her through tennis then found we both attended CAU! Even though we never traveled to the NYC Open together we were always there at same time and I would bump into her sometimes. Wanda was brash, outspoken and a wonderful person when you got to know her. Every time we talked she was always achieving something higher like working towards her Ph D. I know she loved her family always traveling back and forth to Chicago. Blessings to Wanda’s family. She will be missed. In prayer~Peggy

Wanda and I met at a hair salon in Tucker Georgia over 10 years ago. We instantly became friends. We’ve attended Christmas Soirées, Sip and Paint events, hung out at each other’s house, the movies and even Lake Lanier Whenever either one of us wanted to go somewhere, we would call on the other and most times it worked out. I will miss my dear friend and I’m so sorry and sad that she is no longer with us. But she is with the Lord and that’s what’s important. Family members, please call me at 770 281 1236. Thank you. I truly enjoyed working with Wanda. I never had the pleasure of getting to meet her in person, but will miss her sense of humor and no nonsense way of looking at work and life in general. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.
