

Wilma Lewis Biggerstaff, age 80, of Dunwoody, died November 7, 2014 in her sleep. Born in Braymer, MO, she was an Atlanta resident for the majority of her life. She enjoyed her years of employment as a secretary at Amoco Oil Company/BP before retiring to “Adventures in RVing” with her husband, Charlie, friends, and her family. Wilma was a life-long singer in her churches’ choirs, an avid reader, a crossword aficionado, and a beach enthusiast. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and generosity to all, along with her devotion to God and family. She was preceded in death by the love of her life for 56 years, Charles Young Biggerstaff, Jr., her cherished granddaughter, Emily Ann Biggerstaff, and her parents, William George and Ila Mae Lewis. Wilma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Charles and Valerie Mathis Biggerstaff; daughter and son-in-law, Elise Biggerstaff and Steven Donald Crisp; grandchildren, Audrey Jean Biggerstaff, Charles Mathis Biggerstaff, Claire Ann Biggerstaff, and Jayna Kendall Crisp. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CURE Childhood Cancer, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Suite N-402, Atlanta, GA 30338 or to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Pkwy, Norcross, GA 30092. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 3 o’clock at Christ the King Lutheran Church with Pastor Brian Ballard officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
