Adelfa Lopez, age 92, passed away on March 1, 2017, in Sanford, Florida. Adelfa was born and lived most of her life in Tampa. She and her late husband of 69 years, Albert Lopez, also spent many fun filled years living on Anna Maria Island. Later in life they moved outside of Orlando to be close to their daughters. Although working a variety of jobs, Dell, as she was called, worked mainly as a hair stylist. She was a wonderful wife, as well as an amazing mother and grandmother.
Adelfa is survived by her two daughters, Ailene Turner and Irene Marsden, four grandchildren, Michael and Keith Turner and Steven and Albert Marsden, and eight delightful great- grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister and brother-in- law,
Elvia and Evelio Nales, and six nieces and nephews, Norma Hope, Jerry Jordan, Julie Hoover, Eddie Duarte, Diana Garcia, and Joanne Southhall.
Adelfa was loving, kind, generous and hard working with a perfect and wonderful
blend of spunk and a feisty spirit. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
