We all learned quickly, that Alice was a very kind and generous person when she married Ed and became the new, special lady in our Coatney family. She " fit right in" immediately as she expressed her love to us all. Alice contributed to our family in so many special ways with her positive attitude and creative fun activities. Alice also added, God, soft smiles, love, laughter, and genuine fun to our Coatney family activities. The Alice and Ed Coatney times, were special, and ones that our family will remember forever. We express our sincere sympathy to Jim, Gary, Linda and Alice's family during this very sad time in all our lives. Jack & Peg Moore (Bellbrook, O.H. / Largo, F.L.)

One of my favorite memories with Aunt Alice was when I stayed with her & Uncle Eddie for a weekend. I don't think I've ever laughed as much as I did that weekend, between the practical jokes of my uncle & watching Aunt Alice rolls her eyes in embarrassment & then replying with a quick quip that would stop my uncle from being so silly. She was always so welcoming & caring to my brother & I while growing up. Our holiday gatherings were filled with fun & great food. Aunt Alice spent her life helping & caring for others, she was there for her children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren. She always greeted you with a smile & a hug. She will be remembered for her kind heart , love & light she showed toward anyone who came into her life. Aunt Alice we will miss you immensely but know that you're at peace and in the care of God's love.

Alice was a joy to work with at the hospital. She was such a source of cheer and joy on a daily basis. I have such fond memories of our conversations at the front desk or when I would bring things to tray line or the host/hostess area. I never saw her without a smile. My prayers are with her family.

I hadn't seen Alice in many years, but she and Ed were always loving and kind to me while I was married to Gary. I have many wonderful memories of time spent with both of them. My heartfelt condolences go out to Gary, Linda and Jim and Alice's entire family. God bless you all.

Goodbye my friend. It was a pleasure to speak with you at church 3 weeks ago. I shared something that my Mom was going through and as always you had a kind word and a smile. We will miss you at Sunday school where you shined with your presence. I will never forget you. My prayers are with you and your family. Until we meet again, Love you

I worked with Alice many years at the hospital. She always had a smile and was dedicated to her work. It's been a long time but I never forgot her. She was that kind of person. She will be missed.
