Amanda Adams, 47 of Longwood passed away August, 16, 2024. She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on October 15, 1976. She moved to Orlando in 1988. She is a graduate of Edgewater High School and also Central Florida Fire Academy. Amanda was first hired by Orange County Fire Department. In 2008, she was hired by Orlando Fire Department as a firefighter and later became a Paramedic. Amanda was an incredibly kind firefighter and friend, who adored her job and loved serving the residents of Orlando and the community. She enjoyed running, music, singing, everything Star Wars, serving at Northland Church and she loved animals.
Amanda was preceded in death by her Father, Dennis L. Stuart. She is survived by her husband, Chris; daughter, Rochelle, her mother and step father, Terri and Bruce Bemiss, sister, Denise (Craig) Hulette; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Sandy Adams; nephew, Cody Hulette and niece, Katelyn Hulette and several aunts and cousins as well as her 4 beloved pets.
A visitation for Amanda will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at First Baptist Orlando, 3000 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32805. A repass will occur Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at The Lakeside Reception Hall, 4005 N Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, FL 32804.
