Amy passed away peacefully on September 16th, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories.
Amy was born in Harlan Kentucky, raised in Covington, and later built her family with Joe in Fort Wright Kentucky. She then made Florida her home for the next 40 years. Throughout her retirement, she embraced life with enthusiasm, traveling the world, creating lasting memories, and finding her greatest happiness in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Amy’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Rick (Lissa), Pam, Jay (Teresa), and Andrea (Blair), as well as her 12 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, her brother Lou Dercole and her dear friend, Harry Johnston. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Amy’s life was a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
