

Armenthus Royals, passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 95. Armenthus was born on December 18, 1929 in Shorterville, Alabama; she attended School in the Henry County school system of Alabama. Armenthus also attended Florida State College for Women (FSCW) in Tallahassee, Florida. She retired from the Seminole County School Board with over 25 years of service.
She was an active member of Greater Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Sanford, Florida. Down through the years; she was a loyal and faithful member until her health began to fail. She served in her Church as a Choir member and in the missionary society. She was a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary post # 17.
Armenthus was preceded in death by her husband Clarence W. Royals Sr. She is survived by her two sons, Clarence W. Royals Jr. (Melinda) McCalla, Alabama and Kenneth R, Royals (Patrice) Clermont, Florida.
She’s also survived by five grandchildren: Dante Royals (Tonya), Deltona, Florida. Corrie Royals, Torrie Royals of McCalla, Alabama - Her Granddaughters Leinda F. Royals, McCalla, Alabama and Shaunika A. Royals Clermont Florida. She has twelve great grandchildren; a Goddaughter Dr. Hope Tillman Sparrow, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and loving friends.
A visitation will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida, 32771, on October 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Another visitation is scheduled at Divine Temple of God, 1006 W 6th St, Sanford, FL, 32771, on October 12, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at Divine Temple of God on October 12, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Reverend Jack Jackson Jr. will be the eulogist. A committal service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida, 32771, from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
