Betty J. Williams, 84, of Sanford passed away on December 5, 2020. She was born on September 9, 1936 in Sanford, Fl. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1954. Betty married the love of her life Ennis P. Williams Jr. on February 12, 1955 at Central Baptist Church, Sanford. They both enjoyed 60 years of devoted marriage until the passing of Ennis in 2015. Betty was employed with Sears & Roebuck Catalogue Sales in Sanford before finishing her career as a receptionist at Sanford Middle School where she retired after 26 years of devoted service. Betty was a loving wife & devoted mother to their only child, James Williams. She was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church in Sanford but also enjoyed attending Westview Baptist Church as well. Betty is pre-deceased by her husband Ennis and also her only brother, Buddy Earnest. She is survived by her son James Williams (Sanford), grandson James Taylor Williams and granddaughter Leah K. Boyden (Georgia), great grandchildren Eli Hylton and Madisyn Cassidy. Last but not least her ragdoll cat “Cashi” that has been her loving fur companion for 13 years. In lieu of flowers, Betty requested that donations be made to Hospice Society of Choice.
