Celia K Barlow

Celia Etta Knight Barlow of DeBary, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on April 29, 1937, in Lenoir, North Carolina. In the early 1960s, she moved with her husband Harry to Orlando, Florida, where they raised two daughters. She worked as an x-ray technician until age 50, and shortly after she and Harry retired to their dream home on a golf course in DeBary, Florida.

Celia is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lillie Knight, her husband Harry Ray Barlow, and her granddaughter Jessica Laura Roman. She is also preceded in death by her brother Paul Knight and sister Gwendolyn Knight Wingate. Celia is survived by her daughters, Mailin Barlow of DeLand and Jennifer Barlow Gosizk and husband Brian Keith Gosizk of North Barrington, Illinois; her grandson Derek Roman and wife Nicole Roman of Wauconda, Illinois; and her grandson Daniel Roman and wife Mallory Roman of DeBary, Florida. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Nell Knight Benfield of Granite Falls, North Carolina, and Carol Knight Bolick of Lenoir, North Carolina.
