Survived by her Husband Sidney, her Daughter Alexandra, her Son Christian and their dog Lola.
“Grief is not the absence of love, but love that you want to give but cannot.”
And wow, did we have—and still have—a lot of love for you.
Mami could light up any room she entered. Her kind spirit, bright smile, contagious laughter, and rare heart made her unforgettable. She loved deeply and fiercely. She was passionate, hardworking, stubborn, independent, and above all, a devoted mother/wife whose love could be felt in everything she did.
She taught us how to be strong—to let life shape us without ever allowing it to harden our hearts. Even through her battle with cancer, she never gave up. Her spirit remained strong until the very end, and she fought with everything she had.
We are forever grateful for the years we were blessed to call her our mother/wife. Especially for the final weeks we shared. We were able to thank her for the incredible mother and wife she was, for her strength, her courage, and her will to live.
We will spend the rest of our lives honoring her by living in a way that proves her love did not end when she left this world. As her daughter I hope to become even half the woman she was. As her Son I will carry her name with love and as her Husband I will cherish our beautiful life together until we meet again.
If love could have saved you, Mami, you would have lived forever.
May you finally rest in peace. Until we meet again, We love you.
