David E. Higginbotham, 76, of Venice, FL, passed away February 27, 2023. He was born in Clearwater, FL on January 2, 1947. He was married to Mary Sue Higginbotham (Deceased).
Mr. Higginbotham had a career in Law Enforcement, Finance, Advocating for the homeless and had a passion for Public Service, Fishing, Camping and love of the outdoors.
He is survived by his children; Mary L. Higginbotham, David E. Higginbotham Jr.; grandchild, Lindsey Brooke Higginbotham; brother, Kenneth Higginbotham; stepfather, Dr. Stephen R. Plumlee.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am -11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 CR 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.
The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
