Dolores was a kind and giving sister. I will miss our many conversations over the past few years. She was so interesting. We had many wonderful conversations about life in general. She loved filling me in on the latest about family. That was always a treat for me to hear about everyone. With our families spread out it has always been  difficult to keep up and she was excellent at keeping it all straight. Even though her body failed, her mind was sharp as a tac. We talked about Religion, politics and the crazy world in which we live. She saw and experienced so much in her 95 years. As I reflect on this now, I can't even imagine the scope of this. 
     My memories take me back to her house on the lake and all the fun I had in that lake. I remember Ms. Jenson and Dolores' conversations about Ms. Jenson's health. Dolores was always concerned about her.  I can still see her standing and looking out  those old crank windows, that she constantly opened and closed and cleaned! It was a beautiful view. 
     Dolores loved to cook. I have fond memories of the "old country" meals she would make with a watchful eye of course from Grandma Prince.  I remember the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals too. She always helped Grandma. It was fun watching when I was little with no responsibilities. 
     As life never stands still , "life happened" to Dolores.  She 
handled those challenges the best she could and moved on through the years. She didn't stop living but went to work making a life for herself. I treasure our Family History Book that she was so proud of. She learned to deal with the computer, amazing in itself, and  accomplish a legacy for all of us. My grandchildren have used the information in our family book for many a school project. I feel  proud and blessed that she spent the many hours to research, to leave us with this amazing treasure.
     I miss you Dolores but thankful Jesus called you home! Till we meet again. Rest in Peace always.

My sunshine grandma,
Oh the love and joy you filled my life with.
A pivot of strength, hope, faith, humility, and faith in humanity. 
Through every trial and tribulation you faced in your life you held strong to your faith, the strongest faith of anyone I’ve ever known, an anchor for your soul.
You radiated kindness and had the ability to connect with anyone and make them feel safe. 
You have always held hope for me and reminded me of my strength.
I cherish every moment we spent together and our phone calls about life. 
You were and are loved deeply and endlessly.
We enjoyed watching the beauty of the sky together, the way it becomes painted with the most vibrant colors, and I write this as I sit and watch the most beautiful sunrise in the mountains, one I’d tell you about, but I know you are seeing it too.
Thank you for taking care of me and all of us in so many ways. It was an honor to take care of you as you departed into your next journey, a place of peace.
In our last conversation you told me to always remember in this life to be happy and I will carry that with me, continuing to find my happiness.
You have your wings now, glowing as bright as your soul.
There are no words to describe how deeply your absence from this physical world is missed.
Fly free, dance with the angels, and paint the sky every beautiful hue.

My dearest Mother, an exceptional woman and the rock of our family. Her love of life, family and faith in the Lord defined her character and will be forever an inspiration to those who were blessed to know her. 
I will always cherish the memories she built, the stories she told of her childhood growing up on the farm and will carry them in my heart forever. My mother loved Christmas, from decorations to dessert. Preparing our traditional Christmas Eve dinner was more than just preparing a meal; it was about sharing love, honoring tradition and creating cherished memories. Being together with her family was the best gift of all. 
I think of her always and it feels unreal that I will not see her daily. She should know that we will miss her, that we loved her fiercely and that we were always listening to her wisdom. I will cherish the memories and hold on to her strength knowing now she can rest in peace and be the angel that she is. Thank you, mom, for being a great role model, for being my friend, for sharing your wisdom, and loving us unconditionally. Through your example, I’ve become the person and mother I am today. Love you mom to the moon and back.

I was fortunate enough to first meet Dolores when I was just 6-7 years old.
She married my brother Edward and I was the ring bearer at their wedding.
Dolores & Ed moved from Ohio to Florida so I was lucky to be able to visit with them during the summer and stay at their home.
Dolores was the glue holding the Florida Kastl family together  always having a smile on her face and a laugh that was contagious.
As a young child & then a teenager Dolores always was kind and generous to me which I greatly appreciated.
As life does for most people.... the older we got the less time we had to share with each other but I really enjoyed my years of vacationing in Florida to visit Dolores, my brother and my Nieces and Nephew .
As the passing of Dolores is sad.... one result of this is that hopefully a closeness with all members of her family will strengthen.
May God keep & protect Dolores forever !

Mom was the heart of our family — a woman whose strength, kindness, and love shaped every part of who I am. She taught me the meaning of compassion, the value of hard work, and the power of unconditional love.
Her laughter could fill a room, her wisdom could steady any storm, and her presence brought comfort to everyone who knew her. Even in difficult times, she carried herself with grace and a quiet courage that inspired those around her.
Though she is no longer here in body, her spirit lives on in the memories we share, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely. I carry her in my heart every day — in the way I see the world, in the way I treat others, and in the way I try to live with the same kindness and integrity she showed throughout her life.
Mom, your love is eternal. You are deeply missed, always remembered, and forever cherished.

My grandmother dedicated her life to her family, her friends, and her faith. Her kindness was contagious. She adored Christmas, and held any chance for a family gathering deep in her heart.  I could go on forever about hundreds of treasured memories with her, but our Saturday mornings enjoying BK croissantwiches and browsing garage sales were something that made childhood extra special.  She could talk on the phone to a complete stranger and brighten their day. The world knew it was losing an angel on October 26, and the skies cried as she was called home. May she be at peace and know she is in our hearts always.
