I’m heartbroken to hear of Don’s passing. We’ve had a business relationship for many many years, but I’ve always considered him a friend. He was a good man, and I will miss him. Sending hugs and love to his family and co workers.

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Don. He was very good to me when I was young and didn’t know anything. He was the kindest man I’ve ever known. Very talented too. One time him and I sat and wrote a song, just him and his guitar and me and my notebook. Everyone thought it sounded like Faith No More which we thought was such a compliment at the time. I wondered if he stayed playing the guitar? Anyway he helped me a lot in many ways and believed in me which helped me believe in myself. My condolences to his family. He was one of a kind. A truly genuine, helpful, kindhearted wonderful man.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear brother-in-law. He was such a pivotal presence in our family and brought so much love and joy into our lives. As a stepfather and step-grandpa, he went above and beyond to show us all the care and affection that he had in his heart. His graciousness and kindness will never be forgotten, and the memories we shared with him will be cherished forever. We are truly grateful to have had him in our lives, and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

Im heartbroken that such an incredible person could leave us way to early! Donnie was such a talent, I remember him coming over to my house for jam sessions on the bass, and listening to things he wrote!  We spent so many late nights at Zotz working on my race  car and telling stories ,  He taught me how to weld floors pans in my 911, god he had patience!  Donnie helped me so much over the years with so many of my cars.  I will never forget the good times we had and will always remember his smile n laugh! Donnie you were truly a great person and i will think of you often!!

I’ve worked for don for nearly 15 years, over that time we became great friends and colleagues. It was an honor to have him teach me all the things he knew with Porsches, the amount of knowledge he shared simply cannot be expained, he had a passion he taught which i will continue to express through my work for many years to come.
Thank you sir, and rest in peace. You will be missed.

Don was a good friend, a mechanical genius, a car enthusiast and a truly great guy. Over our years as friends , Don helped me own, repair and enhance over 15 cars of all makes and models. He always found a solution, was forever grateful for the opportunity to be of service and likely was as thrilled with the results as I was. I never heard a person utter an unkind word about Don nor did he ever deliver harsh words towards others. He was a true gentleman. I will miss our interaction in so many ways , especially his infectious laugh and the sparkle in his eyes when the job was done with precision and excellent results. God bless my friend. Hope there is a Porsche Club in heaven. If so they just bettered their membership by a lot!!!

Don helped me learn and grow by softly saying yep, but why not try this?  I smile when I think of his vision, thank you don.

Our prayers and condolences go out to Don’s family and extended “family” of Porsche friends.  Don was always there ready to help, fix or do whatever needed to keep a car running for anyone who knew him.  We are sad to hear of his passing and will cherish many fun memories.  - Greg and Jen Barrows
