Edward F. “Bucky” Hayden, 88, of Edgewater, FL, died February 4, 2018. He was born December 21, 1929 in Suffield, Connecticut to Edward and Bernadine Hayden and protected the citizens of Sanford, Florida as a dedicated police officer for 35 years.
Bucky is predeceased by the love of his life Donna of 54 years (2006). They were married in Sanford on April 18, 1952. Bucky is lovingly remembered by his daughter Ronna (Scott) Clark of Brandon, FL; son Tony Hayden of Orlando; grandson Brandon of Tampa; brother Bruce Hayden of Landrum, SC; sisters Claire Hayden Montemerlo of Windsor Locks, CT, Adine (Deanie) Hayden Hajdasz of West Hartford, CT (predeceased by sisters Beverly, Janet and Betty); loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held February 11 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Oaklawn Chapel of the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home with a Funeral service to start at 2:00pm followed by interment at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, Lake Mary, FL.
