Elaine was the epitome of a giving person of both her time and resources. She loved to shop especially during the holidays. She was a real life Mrs. Claus She shopped so often, the sales associates knew her as Nana as she was always shopping for her grandchildren. She loved her jewelry, music and dancing. She also enjoyed cheering on her Boston Red Sox and even met Robert Redford at a playoff game. However, she let Robert know that he was no match for her husband Ed.
She loved traveling, playing cards, bingo and socializing with her family and lifelong friends. Her travels included trips to Hawaii, Germany, Switzerland, England, Portugal, California, Cape Cod, Maine and many cruises to the Caribbean.
Elaine was also known as "Cookie" from when she was a little girl. The reason was obvious for this nickname, she simply loved cookies. In high school, she was a cheerleader for the Chelsea High football team. She was also a long time member of the Church of the Annunciation. She was a long time member of the Polish American Veterans (PAV) club in Chelsea, MA.
