She had 3 children, Carla, Rebecca and Carlos, and 3 wonderful grandchildren, Connor, Grace and Glory. She was a faithful follower of Christ and a great friend to many.
She worked as a Financial Aid counselor at Seminole State College for 33 years. She loved being busy - she retired after 25 years, only to return 2 years later and work for 7 more. She helped thousands of students with financial aid during her years at SSC, and if you were out in public with her, it never failed that someone would recognize her from her days at SSC. They would thank her for her kindness, something felt by everyone that was around her. She made a difference in the lives of those she touched through her work and in the lifelong friendships she had with her colleagues.
She truly loved people and never met a stranger. She was very independent,
loved to travel and took great joy in creating the beautiful Christmas displays that lit up her yard every year.
Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she especially loved singing in the church choir for the Christmas program.
She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. We take comfort in knowing we will see her again in Heaven.
