Aunt Ella was a beautiful lady inside and out with a love for our God and beliefs that I have never witnessed from anyone else. She was our neighbor for many years in Paola and my Mother's best friend. Ella was not officially my Aunt but my family loved her as if she were. Heaven got their Angel and they rejoiced. I will miss you Aunt Ella and all your kind words over the years. I feel blessed that I was able to speak with you on July 9th, your words I will cherish forever.

Prayers, blessings and comfort to all the family.

Even though I didn’t know her well, I always enjoyed seeing her sweet face and friendly hello at church. I loved reading her life story here, especially how she came to know the Lord Jesus ❤️

My Dear Sweet Aunt Ella. To know her was to love her. She was more than a Aunt to me. Not only was she my mom's sister, she was like a second mom to me since my mom died when I was 24 as well as my friend. She has cried and prayed with me many time from the hardships that life can throw at you. I could always depend on her. I felt the power of her prayers and will greatly miss her. But I'm happy for her because I know she is where she wants to be. Our loss is definitely HEAVEN'S gain...
Tony and Inez and families, I know exactly what it's like to loose your mother. It's like a part of you went with her but what a great legacy she left with you guy's. The legacy of Jesus, Family, and Friends. After all that's really all that matters in life. I love each of you and am truly sorry for your loss. We are here for you if you need us. Love, Hugs, and Prayers sent your way!

I met Ella years ago when I sat next to her in the old sanctuary and she saw Joe as a little boy (39 years old now) walking the aisle. The Lord laid it on her heart to pray for him. She told me the story and I told her that was my son. That started our friendship. She used to pray for me when I drove I-4 for work. I have kept her correspondence all these years. I consider our friendship a blessing. One day we will see her again in Heaven.

If it wasn't for Mrs. Davis I never would have found Jesus. Very fond memories as a child growing up, she was the best neighbor a person could have. My condolences to her family.
