Ellis "Ozzie" Osborn

Ellis “Ozzie” Osborn of Windermere, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Ozzie was born on August 29, 1928, in Manasquan, New Jersey. He graduated from Manasquan High School in 1948. He worked at Florida Power and Light and Osborn’s Book and Bible. Ozzie was involved in St. Andrews Chapel in Sanford, and other churches. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Joanne Osborn, and a Granddaughter, Jennifer Osborn. He is survived by his 5 Children, Steve Osborn of Ellabell, Georgia; Ken Osborn of Melbourne, Florida; Jeff Osborn of Jacksonville, Florida; David Osborn of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and Patricia Osborn of Apopka, Florida. Ozzie has 9 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his fiancée Shirley Vanden Handel.

A public visitation for Ozzie will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771. A graveside committal will occur Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel & Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 Co Rd 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.
