Selfless, funny, intelligent, devoted, happy, over-achiever, godly, incredibly wonderful. Essam Henein Shalaby was the example of how we all should be. To his wife, Maria, he was her best friend, her love, and partner in life. To his daughters, Catalina Marie and Victoria Elizabeth, Essam was their everything and his love for them could not be measured – he taught them to be strong, kind and independent. He was a great son and brother, an exceptional uncle and cousin, and everyone’s best friend. He showed an unconditional love beyond what any other person could have. Essam’s love was felt by everyone that came in touch with him. Essam’s legacy will be carried on through his daughters. He will be loved and missed forever in our hearts.
