Frances H. Tomlin

She was born in Jackson, Mississippi on November 19, 1939. Frances graduated from Murrah High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Hinds Community College. Frances was married to W. Durand Tomlin for 47 years before his passing.

Frances worked for Seminole County at the clerk of the court for 26 years. She was a member of Markham Woods Presbyterian Church where she served with the children ministry and the communion committee for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter; Jennifer Chittum (Dan), Son; Jeffrey Tomlin (Athena). Her grandchildren; Rachel Mahan (J.D.), Hannah Chittum, Sarah, Kate and Jacob Tomlin. Her Brother; James F. Haynes (Jonita) and sister-in-law Peggy Pauling (Tom). She was preceded in death by her husband W Durand Tomlin, her brother Robert V Haynes and sister-in-law Martha Haynes.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Orangewood Presbyterian Church, Maitland, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Dementia Society of America and the ALS Association.
