George M. Mollan of Sanford, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19. George lived his first 46 years in Chicago before making his home in Sanford in the early 1980s. After serving in the US Army from 1953-55, George enjoyed working in book publishing and carpentry. He also took pleasure in playing golf, reading, listening to good music and telling tall tales. George was the son of George H and Sarah Ellen (Scott) Mollan. He is survived by his sons Scott and Mark, daughter Lucy, step son Grant, step daughter-in-law Patti, and five grandchildren and one great grandson. Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday October 17, noon at Oaklawn Cemetery.
