George Edgar Morrison, 89 of Spring Hill passed away on January 25, 2016 in his residence. George was born on April 21, 1926 in Newark Valley, New York, the son of John and Laura Morrison. George served our country proudly in WWII as a member of the Unites States Marine Corps.. He married his wife Carol Lorraine Morrison, and she preceded him in death. George worked on fire apparatus for many years in various capacities.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 31, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Rd 46A in Sanford. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Chaplain Jim Lathan officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Park.
