Another year missing you. I've come a long way since last year. I hope I am making you proud. I wish you could meet the man I am going to marry. I think you would love him. The kids are great and they miss you so much. You are always on my brain. I lost one of my best friends the day you passed. I still can't believe your gone. I will love you for eternity. Until we see each other again. 😘


Hey Nana, 
As it gets closer and closer to being a year since your passing I can't help but feel saddened. I hope you heard every word I spoke to you the day of your passing. I know I made it there just after your passing but scientists say that the brain can live for up to 48 hours after your heart stops beating. Aunt Susan did an amazing thing for me. A volenteer made me a bear out of one of your PJ's and it was given to me on Christmas eve as a Christmas present. It was the most amazing thing I could ask for. I have it at my mom's and Nona's house. The pain of your loss never fades. Nana, I love you with all of my heart and I miss you greatly. Until we meet again. 😘

As I sit here debating with myself what to say, so many memories with you flood my head. Nana, there was no one else like you on earth. You were definitely original. You never abandoned me, you were always there for me in so many ways. I could come to you with any troubles and you would hug me and kiss me and tell me God has it handled and that everything will be alright. You lived a long and amazing life, and I am honored to be you're grand daughter. God gained one of the best angels. I love you so much and I miss you deeply. I know your where you always knew you'd end up and I know your up there with Papa Tex and Aunt Sharon having a blast. Please look over the kids and I. Send me a sign that everything will be okay. I wish I could get one more hug and kiss. I wish I could hear you say "I love you baby" one more time. Rest easy Nana. Until we meet again.
