Harold Joseph Votra Jr., age 72, of Heathrow passed away suddenly on Monday, April 15, 2019. Harold was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY on April 28, 1946 to the late Harold and Theresa Votra. Harold raised his four children in Brick Township where he enjoyed coaching them in youth soccer when they were younger. He relocated to Heathrow, Florida in 2000. Harold started his career with Continental Insurance as a Project Manager. He then worked for KSM in Yardley, Pennsylvania as Senior Vice President. After retiring and moving to Florida, Harold took a position where he could combine his love to cook with his love to socialize with people. He joined the Marott team to cook breakfast for residents. More than that, he built a family with his coworkers. When Harold was not working he spent his time enjoying the view from his back patio and reffing youth soccer in Orlando.
Harold loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted father, Papa, brother and friend. He will be missed dearly.
Harold is survived by his four children and their spouses; Holly McNabb (Brian) of Brick, NJ; Heather Shwom (Corbett) of East Windsor, NJ; Timothy (Sara) of Toms River, NJ; Tina Votra of Bloomfield, NJ; his brother James Votra of Franklin Square, NY; his sister Laura Battinelli of Hideaway, Texas. He is survived by his grandchildren, Taylor, Chase, Emma, Abby, Joey, Danny, Justin, Dylan and Christopher.
