I don't think she ever really knew how much she meant to me. I was 18 and had no where to go and she welcomed me into her home just like another one of her kids....literally 😂 I was rebelling and got my tongue pierced and thought I could easily hide it from her but of course she knew everything!! I was trying to gently eat because I was hurting so bad and she came along and smacked me on the back of the head it hurt so bad and she just laughed and told me I shouldn't do dumb stuff! She showed me how to do laundry and cook. 20 years later and I still laugh to myself about her whenever I see Cindy post of picture of her! Sending the Eastman's And the rest of her family, my love, hugs and prayers!

Isabel was the most honest and fun loving person I have worked with, her creativity with cakes and knitting has always blown me away. It breaks my heart knowing her life was cut short but I know she touched a lot of hearts as if she lived 100 years. Thank you for the knowledge and memories you have given me Isabel, I will never forget them.

3 months ago I got transferred to store 227 and Isabel was one of the first people I met. I immediately clicked with Isabel. My decorating shifts consisted of her and I laughing and joking, and there was so much laughing. She told me so many stories of her life. That's where I learned about the love she had for her family (soooo much love for her family), how proud she was to be a mother and wife, knitting and stories of her life. It did not take much for Isabel to make an everlasting impression on me. Her laugh was infectious, her smile was bright, and her soul was kind, even when she was a little spicy!
She knitted my daughter a hat and blanket, something I will cherish forever. The hat didnt fit Avery, Isabel took it back to knit extra length to it with out even asking. Because that's the type of person she was. Beautiful inside and out. Everything that she created reflected who she was.
Isabel has left an impression on me that will last a life time in the short time I knew her. Im grateful to have worked beside her and laughed with her. She touched the heart of everyone in our department, and her memory lives on with us.
