Prayers being sent from the Hall family in Charlotte, NC. I only met Janet a few times but She was very nice to the Boogs staff. I managed Boog’s BBQ on the boardwalk for 5 years and worked for JW for 6 total. I was always amazed by the love and devotion the whole family had to Janet throughout everything. JW, let us know if you’re ever in the Charlotte area. -Alex, Andrew, and Adaline Hall 443-925-9490

We met Janet many years ago as she was the wife of our friend, Boog Powell, a former Miller Lite All-Star. We recall Jan from the various Miller Brewing events and she was a great person. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
May the Lord be with Boog and the family during this difficult time. God Bless them all,

Jan was a remarkable woman. Exceptional is all that she endeavored. She always had a big smile for me and wanted to talk about what was happening in Key West and how my family was. When I first met her as a teenager, she was stern and strict, kept the rules front and center. With that said she a had a wicked since of humor and loved to have a good time. She and Boog welcomed me into their home which led to a lasting friendship with them and their family. I was blessed to have her in my life and I will always remember Jan and her engaging smile.
