Jason Branch (Grunt), was born on August 7, 1980, in Tampa, Florida and grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Sleepy Hollow, Illinois. Jason served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2004 and was deployed in Kosovo and Iraq, where he received the Combat Action Ribbon, and numerous citations and awards. Jason moved from Chicago to Orlando in July 2012 where he attended Motorcycle Mechanic Institute to pursue his passion for motorcycles, and most recently was employed at Boston Whaler, assembling boats. He belonged to Central Florida Leathernecks, and served as Chapter President. Jason's passion for life shined through in his love for his family and friends, his patriotism, and the joy he felt during his motorcycle rides with his fellow leathernecks. No matter what he did you always knew he was "all in". Everywhere he went he made a friend and touched us each in a different way, the love everybody had for Jason will live on in our memories of him. Jason passed at age 35 on October 2, 2015. Jason is survived by fiance Morgen McWherter, Pops David Branch, mother Susan Saunders, brothers Jarrod Branch, Billy Saunders, and Doug Saunders, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and his Leatherneck family.
