My dear family and friends. Our Mom passed away this weekend. She had a long battle with dementia/Alzheimer’s. It stole our beautiful mother bit by bit, but she never wavered in her love, kindness and sweet disposition. Forever an English teacher, proud mother, volunteer, community leader, historian, gardener and fun loving grandmother, she left an indelible mark on all of us. Her heart was full of music and as a girl, growing up in Swampscott, Mass, she sang in the Sunday choir. That started her on a lifetime journey of musicals, operas, and finally on to the stage in Carnegie Hall in NYC. Her voice will now resonate in the Heavenly Choir as we all know her faith has her with her Lord and Savior. She leaves behind her family, devoted daughter, Dawn (Chiary) Ball, son-in-law Steve Ball and our two children, Brett and Casey who she affectionately called “Her Boys.” She also leaves behind daughter, Aynn (Chiary) Barlotta, son-in-law Ken and their children Corki and Brian, who she dearly loved.
A service will be held at Markham Woods Presbyterian Church, 5210 Markham Woods Road, Lake Mary, Florida on November 3, 2019 at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
