Jeanette spent her life taking care of others, and always willing to volunteer for anything asked of her. She was a wonderful homemaker and an excellent seamstress, enjoying Cross stitch and crafting. She loved entertaining friends, and singing in her church choir. She was a member of the Central Florida Chorale, and was a life time member of the Women’s Club of Sanford, and Sanford Garden Club. She volunteered in many civic organizations, and will be missed dearly by many who loved her.
Meeting her in Heaven are her parents and brother in-law, John Padgett.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 44 years, William H. Padgett; sisters Sylvia Stanley and Helen Padgett; nephews, Mark Padgett (Wife Carrie), John Padgett (wife Dawn), and Gordon Padgett (wife Mary) as well as a host of friends.
A Celebration of Jeanette’s Life will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oaklawn Funeral Home in Sanford with interment to immediately follow.
