Rest In Peace to my step father, Jet T Harper. He gained his Angel wings and has been reunited with my beautiful mother, Phyllis Jet Harper. God put Jet into my life when he did for a reason.
He isn’t my biological father, I did not carry his last name and I do not look like him in the slightest. Any man can make a child, and stick his name on the birth certificate. It took a real man like him to step up and take in 3 adult children who was not his own. His love is in fact, was a choice. When he walked into our lives, I saw the light beam within my mom's eyes again. I want to say thank you for being the man that my mom needed. Thank you for being there for her, for supporting her, for making her feel beautiful, and for filling her life with an unconditional love. We all needed the light and happiness that you were ready to so effortlessly bring us. I know you will be shining down on all of us from heaven. Rest in paradise. I love you and will hold you in my heart forever.
