Jimmi’s life was forever changed as a small child when Rev. Sebastian Muccilli met him in Haiti while working at a hospice center for sick and orphaned children. Jimmi’s mother, who was unable to care for him, took him to the center. She left him in the care of the orphanage just before her own death. Soon after, Rev. Sebastian made the decision to adopt Jimmi and bring him to the United States where he immediately became a beloved member of the family. Jimmi had a gentle soul, was generous and loving, and had an infectious laugh. Jimmi also had a fighting spirit, and battled illness from the time he was a child. He never complained, he always kept a smile and persevered. His family was truly blessed to have him in their lives.
He is predeceased by his father, Rev. Sebastian Muccilli.
Left to cherish his memory are his family members, Gloria Lang; Paula and Michael Dimperio, Daniel Lang, Gregory Lang; Matthew Lang, Carmel and Richard Pizcar; Joseph and Phillip Dimperio, Ariel and Gabriel Lang; Sebastian and Olivia Lang, as well as a host of special friends.
