John grew up in a loving Catholic family on a farm in Ontario, Canada; he was always proud of his Canadian heritage. He began his career at the Ontario Conservatory of Music, eventually becoming its co-owner. In the early 1980’s he co-founded Nu-Media Systems. Arriving in Florida in the early 1990’s he co-founded the Florida State Conservatory of Music. Before retiring he enjoyed working as a mortgage lender with several major Central Florida banks. He was a parishioner of St. Peters for over 28 years; during that time, he became a vestry, to which he was deeply committed. John was a man of deep faith, enduring kindness and profound love for his adoring wife, family and life. He was known for his love of music, sports, gardening, grilling, steady presence, and a generosity of spirit that extended to all. John made a lasting impression of abiding intellect, humor and charm that will not be forgotten.
Family was at the center of John’s life. His greatest joy was time spent together with family and friends. His legacy lives on.
