Dear Aly and Raymond, 
0n this precious day of remembrance please know that you both are deep in our hearts. We join you in spirit as you long for your dear son, Jude. The memory captured in the photo of you, Aly, gently and lovingly holding Jude in your arms, and Jude's small hand tightly holding on to your finger, Raymond, will never leave us. We pray that God will continue to hold you both close to Him for comfort and strength - and also for wisdom and guidance as you welcome Jude's little brother!

My dear cousins, Raymond and Aly,

The service for precious Jude was absolutely beautiful and so God-honoring! How wonderful that God uses Jude, even though he is not here with us anymore, to proclaim good news to all people! May He continue to shine through Jude and bring glory to Himself and others to Him because of Jude! 
Y'all are amazing - thank you so much for sharing Jude and your joy and pain with us - for being so honest and open. May the Lord bless you beyond measure and give you healing in your grief.

Dear Raymond and Aly,

We are grieving with you and praying for God's comfort for you. We are missing Jude but thankful we got to meet him through pictures and be a part of his life through prayer.  We are looking forward to being with him, Jesus, and Vovô in heaven! 

Aly and Raymond,
We extend our deepest sympathies to you at the loss of your precious son, but we rejoice that he is experiencing the fullness of joy in God's presence. May God's surpassing peace comfort you as you grieve.  You are in our thoughts and prayers. 

Aly and Raymond,
As great as our joy was at Jude’s birth, so great is our grief at his passing.  As you both know, our whole family fell in love with little Jude. We look forward with great anticipation to the joyful and glorious reunion with him which God has for us in His time. We wish we could be physically present at Jude’s memorial service to support and comfort you.  Please know that we are grieving with you at this time and that you are in our thoughts and prayers.  We love you.

Dearest Raymond and Aly,
Our hearts ache with you over the pain, grief, and loss you have been and are going through. Our words are not adequate, but we pray that God's Word will fill you with the certainty that Jude is alive and well and victorious through Jesus Christ! May the hope of seeing him again and being with him forever give you comfort and strength as you grieve this temporary separation from him.  We love you and are praying for you! 

Precious Jude Raymond Leonard, 
As you run and play and laugh with Jesus and Vovô, please know that we love you and can't wait to meet you! We so miss you being here but we know that you are being lovingly and tenderly cared for. The day will soon come when we will all be running and playing and laughing together!

Dearest Jude, 
Although we've never met,  I'm so very grateful to God for placing you in our family and with your two wonderfully precious parents. From the time you were conceived until the day your Maker called you home, your life was intentional, valuable, and meaningful, more than any one of us could say here.  Without even having to try,  you touched the lives of every member of this family in a way that will never be forgotten.  And I feel sure that when your younger siblings come along their lives will forever be positively impacted by yours, even though it was much shorter on this earth than we wanted. God created you for a special purpose,  and I can't wait until the day when I can see your shining face!

Jude,
We do not understand why your life here on earth was so brief, but we do know that we are proud of you.  You were so small, yet you were a mighty fighter-until God called you home.  We didn't get a chance to teach you the meaning of your name-"praise/praise God." We praise God for you, Jude, because you were (and are) awesomely and wonderfully made.  We know God's workmanship is marvelous! At this moment, you know and understand that far better than we do here on earth.  One day we will join you, and you can lead us in praising God for His marvelous workmanship. Until then we will miss you very much.

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!

Aly and Raymond,
My heart is very sad for each of you, and I wish I could protect you from this pain.  I'm trusting in our faithful, heavenly Father to comfort and encourage you in each moment of grief. I  rejoice in knowing that I will meet Jude in heaven and spend eternity with him.  Sending you much love.
