Kenneth Lawrence Wilkins, Sr. passed away August 25, 2015 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was born June 10, 1938 in Sanford, Florida to Lawrence Sey Wilkins and Frances Foster. He was a trainman for 43 years with the CSX Railroad in Sanford. Upon his retirement he spent his days in New Smyrna Beach, “living the dream,” enjoying the beach and fishing. He made a host of friends wherever he lived. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter Tasha Wilkins. He is survived by his son Kenneth Lawrence Wilkins, Jr. and his wife Linda, his daughter Alicia Kay Wilkins, his grandsons Scott Sutherland and Sean Wilkins, his granddaughter Heather Kelsey and his great grandsons Joey Kelsey, Aiden Kelsey and Joshua Kneiss. The family will receive friends Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, Pastor Harvey Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Sanford, Florida.
