Landon Thomas Smith

Landon Thomas "Smitty" Smith was born November 4, 2009 in Orlando, FL and was a lifelong resident of Winter Springs. The beloved son of Patrick and Amanda Smith, Landon was a lover of sports, fast cars, his dogs (Layla and Stormy), playing video games, his family and his friends. But most of all, Landon loved baseball – a player of the game since the age of 4, Landon spent much of his life in a ballpark or practicing to perfect his game. This is where he earned the nickname "Knuckles" - playfully bestowed upon him during his time as a pitcher and it just stuck. He played on several baseball leagues over the years including the Winter Springs Babe Ruth league, the Winter Springs High School Farm Team, Travel Ball teams and was a member of the Lyman Greyhounds Junior Varsity baseball team where he wore the number 5 and his friends and teammates all knew him as "Smitty". He was also very proud of his 2008 Toyota Tacoma, dubbed the "F1 Hauler" - which he loved to work on with his dad. Landon really loved the Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Rays, F1 racing, the color blue, a good adventure, the way the sky looks at sunset, and hanging out with his friends and family any chance he could. Landon is survived by his parents, his grandparents, Gloria Harbaugh and Alice King (John), Aunts and Uncles: Michael Lundsford (Angela), Andre Kapinkin (Sandy), and Amanda Mitteff (Eric), and his cousins. A public visitation will be held on October 27, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.

The funeral service is scheduled for October 28, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Northland Church, 522 Dog Track Rd, Longwood, FL 32750.

A graveside committal will follow on October 28, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, 4991 Co Rd 46A, Lake Mary, FL 32746.
