Linette Marie Kane

Linette Marie Kane, 60, of Sanford passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 in her residence. Linette was born on January 28, 1957 in Hinsdale, Illinois; the daughter of Harold and Ellen (Jensen) Copper. She attended Downers Grove South High School. She married Roger Kane in 1988. Linette worked for Illinois Bell, and volunteered in the schools where her children attended. Linette retired in Illinois and moved to Florida in 2006 with her family, to be closer to her parents. She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church of Oviedo, and a member of the bell choir there. Linette leaves behind her husband of 29 years Roger, daughter Alexis Kane of Sanford, son Mike Allers of Atlanta, Georgia, mother Ellen (Jensen) LaSota of Sarasota, her sister Linea (Copper) Julien of Austin, Texas, brothers Terry Copper of Sarasota, and David Copper of Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Baldwin Farichild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL. 32771. A funeral service celebrating Linette’s life will take place Wednesday August 30 at 10:00am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1498 Tuskawilla Road, Oviedo, FL. 32765.
