Loretta G Carter age 78, of Grand Island, FL passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at home. After a long time battle with Heart Disease she succumbed to the end with faith, courage and strength. In her final moments, she was comforted and surrounded by love of one's.
Loretta was a loving mom to her three boys, Lewis, Lee and Brian. She was full of life with a smile that lit up the room.
Loretta was born March 2, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL to Cecil Clark Jr and Jackie Lee Clark and was later adopted by Charles Gatlin. Loretta is reunited with those predeceased; Her ex husband JR (Junior), her parents, sisters Donna and Beverly, brother Charlie. She is survived by her love Mike, three sons, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. To commemorate her beautiful life and to celebrate the love she shared, we are gathered here today.
