Margaret Clawson

She was born in Aiken, South Carolina to her parents Carey and Audrey Tyler. She was married and is survived by her husband Hubert Clawson. They were married on January 15th, 1977. Traveling was a top priority for them and together they traveled the world. Margaret's love of travel and generosity was extended to her children and grandchildren where they joined her on trips to New York, Iceland, Italy, Australia, Greece and Israel. Margaret enjoyed working and had several careers along the way. She worked at FTU (UCF) in the late 1960's, she was a real estate agent, and then transitioned to property management for several large apartment complexes in Orlando. While living in Gainesville, she volunteered her time at Shands Hospital to rock the newborn babies born to mothers with addictions. She also volunteered for Hospice doing office work, as well as being an usher at the University of Florida's theater program. She loved to spend time with her family and her family loved spending time with her. Margaret's love and faith in God were always part of who she was. We will miss her greatly, but we know she is Home with our Savior and enjoying her new life, free of dementia and pain.

In addition to her husband Hubert, her survivors are Brother: Walter Tyler (Elaine), Children: Sheila Raw (Rodney), Steve Johnson (Ginnie), Sharon Burtner (Paul), Stepdaughter: Carol Hawkins (Ron), Grandchildren: Kelly Gindlesperger (Derek), Greg Burtner (Danielle), Derek Raw, Step-Grandchildren: Christina Cole (Jack), Taylor Hawkins (Carly), Chris Clawson (Alyssa), Katy Clawson, Great-Grandchildren: Bailey and Ava Gindlesperger and Step-Great Grandchild: Jak Aiden Cole.

She is preceded in death by her Stepson Michael Clawson (Beth).
