Martha Todd Poff

Martha Todd Poff, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, at 8:56 a.m., surrounded by her loving family.

Known for her quick wit, joyful spirit, and the warmth she extended to all, Martha had a gift for making people feel at home. Whether sharing a family meal, telling stories from years past, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, she turned the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her three children John David Todd, Bonnie Brown and Kathy Knowles; son-in-laws Jerry Brown and David Knowles, ten grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Each will remember her love, humor, and strength with deep affection.

Martha wished to be remembered for the joy she brought to others, not for the sadness of her passing. Her friends and family are encouraged to share stories that bring smiles, recall memories that warm the heart, and even laugh at one of her jokes.

Martha’s absence leaves a deep ache, but her love will remain a guiding light in the lives of all who knew her.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 CR 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. Interment will follow Oaklawn Park Cemetery. The family will host a reception after the service at the funeral home.
