Marvin “Bob” Robert Coffman Jr. unexpectedly passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born on August 9, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio and spent his childhood in Springfield. He then moved to Florida in November of 1985.
Bob was an active member of Nativity Catholic Church and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1969. He never met a stranger and had a smile and spirit that would light up any room. He was always there to help in any capactiy and there was no project too big for him. Ohio State filled the house on Saturday’s and Bob was their biggest fan. His kids and grandkids were his greatest joy and the pride he felt when speaking about them was apparent to anyone who came into contact with him. He was an incredible father, brother, son, papa, and friend who will be missed tremendously by all.
He’s predeceased by his father, Marvin Coffman Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Verna M. Coffman; son, Brandon Robert Coffman; daughters, Ciara Rose Guiles and Hayley Marie Coffman; brother, Steve Coffman; sisters, Marylyn Null, Barb Wilbur, Denise Carter, Diane Coffman, and Chris Kristensen; grandchildren, Greyson Guiles and Harper Guiles as well as numerous extended family members and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held March 5th, 2021 at Nativity Catholic Church in Longwood, FL at 11am with a burial service at Oaklawn Cemetery in Lake Mary, FL at 12:30pm. Afterwards, the family will have a room reserved at one of his favorite places, Cafe Murano’s in Altamonte Springs, to share special memories of Bob’s life. All are welcome!
