

Michael L. Coggon, 64, of Deltona, Florida peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Orange City, Florida. He was a a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and a firm believer in Christ. One of Michael's favorite Bible verses is Romans 12:2. Michael loved adventures, music, art and reading. He was an unconditional man who loved his family.
Michael is survived by his wife Joanne A Coggon, his son Chris M. Coggon and favorite daughter-in-law Stacie M. Coggon, his favorite daughter and son-in-law Mandi L. and Oliver R. King and his 9 grandchildren Alex, Austin, Ethan, Aiden, Caiden, Samantha, Kaia and Emanuel. He also leaves behind his parents Robert and Billie Coggon, his siblings Debbie and Butch Putt, Sharon and Mark Adams, Eddie and Danielle Coggon and Patti and Mike Jackson along with his wife's sister and her husband Chester and Treva Matthews as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
Michael always had others laughing and smiling and continues to do so with the memories he has left imprinted on the hearts of those he knew.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Halifax Health Hospice. A celebration of life service is scheduled to take place at Central Baptist Church in Sanford, Florida on January 5, 2017 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Come dressed in casual clothes; Hawaiian shirts and blue jeans were Michael's favorite attire!
