Patricia Anne Jones

Jones, Patricia (Pat) Anne (Butterfield) age 96, formerly of Heathrow, Lake Mary, Florida, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold G. Jones and her son, Craig Glenn Jones. Her parents, Arthur W. Butterfield and Elizabeth H. Hawkins Butterfield, and her brother A. William Butterfield, Jr., also preceded her in death.

Pat was a loving mother to Kathryn Hautamaki (Robert), Christine Wiegert (Timothy), Susan Begg (Alistair) and Carol Sanderlin (Frank); grandmother to ten grandchildren: Charity, Jennifer, Cameron, Michelle, Jason, Emily, Matthew, Tricia (preceded in death), Rhys (preceded in death) Stephanie; great grandmother to eighteen great grandchildren: Sydney, Andrew, Hannah, Rachel, Callie, Wyatt, Leona, Aiden, Riley, Brynn, Matilda, Romy, Maggie, Hailey, Niall, Annabelle, Ellerie, Adrian; and great-great grandmother to Allison, and Elliana.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan and attended Cass Tech High School and Highland Park Community College where she studied art, which was one of Pat’s passions in life. Throughout the years she created charcoal sketches and portraits, as well as oil paintings which she shared lovingly with her friends and family.

During Pat’s married life she lived in Michigan and Pennsylvania, and overseas in England and Mexico. She traveled the world with her husband and enjoyed sharing her experiences and stories about her travels. In her later life, she made her final home and resting place in Florida.

She lived an active and fulfilling life. She was a member of Saint Andrews Chapel, Sanford, Florida for 28 years where she participated in the choir and various Bible Studies.

Above everything, Pat would like her legacy to be known as a faithful Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother. She was a dear friend to all who loved and cared for her. We rejoice in the knowledge of seeing her again in heaven.
