Qui Truong

He was born in Canton, China on August 20, 1941. Qui graduated from a local high school in Vietnam. He married his wife Nu on June 10, 1969. He worked in the dietary department for over 30 years at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. He had a passion for food, exercise, watching Chinese programming, basketball, and soccer.

He is survived by his loving wife Nu, brother Ky, sister Yun, children Jennifer, Jackie, Luong, Lisa and Vivian, and 8 grandchildren Aidan, Madison, Connor, Cameryn, Ella, Evan, Mia and Mason.

To our beloved father, Qui, he lived a long 82 years alongside our mom for 54 years. Our family takes solace in celebrating his life which was he lived to it’s fullest and he is cherished by all who knew him. He possessed a hardworking, friendly, energetic, and joyful spirit and will be missed by us all every day. He was a loving father and even more loving grandfather. We will all meet again. Until then, we love you dad (GongGong).

A visitation for Qui will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771 with a funeral service following at 3 pm. The family will continue to receive friends until 5 pm following the service.
