I grew up with Ray "Hemo" Maviglia in Monroe NY and played many sports with him. I was a centerfielder in High School and would say to myself " Wow what a curveball Hemo has, nobody will hit that ". I was correct !! On a more personal note, Ray was a friend who would love to have a great time, treat you with respect and would give you his shirt right off his back. He was so much fun to be around. I spoke to Ray 2 months ago to set up a golf outing with the "Monroe Crew" in Hilton Head SC. He will be missed. R.I.P Hemo, until we meet again.

I met ray in 2003 and immediately knew what a great guy and later true friend he would always be. Ray was the life of the party and that is how I will always remember him. Thoughtfully Paul dombek

Karen, Elyse and family- we are so sadden to hear of Ray’s passing. We’ve been neighbors for 17 years and more recently have enjoyed great conversations without our hedge barrier. Ray was an awesome guy! Our prayers are with you all- God speed your healing and always embrace and cherish your memories.
