She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Edward and Rita Messick.
She is survived by her beloved husband Eugene Holcomb of 34 years and sister Roseanne Schwartz of Levittown, Pennsylvania. She leaves behind 4 devoted children and their spouses, Nancy and Scott Arnett of Sanford, FL., Michael and Tammy Holcomb or Booneville, AR., Johnny and Shelley Atkinson of Sanford, FL. and Missy and Mickey Cogburn of Sanford, FL. Rita has 16 amazing grandchildren and 24 beautiful great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews that will carry on her legacy for years to come.
Viewing from 11 am to 1 pm with services to follow on Thursday April 14, 2022 at the Whole World Gospel Center, Church of God of Prophecy 2509 S. Elm Ave in Sanford, FL. 32773. There will be a grave side service to follow at the Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel & Oaklawn Cemetery located at 5000 CO Rd 46A, Sanford, FL for her final resting place.
