

Ron was born on November 2, 1935 in North Adams, Massachusetts. He graduated from Drury High School and received his degree in Accounting from Albany Business College.
Ron was married to his wife Carolyn for 63 beautiful years. He served in the United States Army and National Guard for six years. Ron worked at Sprague Electric Company for 32 years before moving to Florida and purchasing Dearborn Electronics in Longwood, Florida.
Family was the number one priority in Ron’s life. Everything he did was for his wife and daughters. Everyone who knew Ron appreciated his great sense of humor. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.
Ron was a lifelong fan of The Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was an avid reader and huge fan of Frank Sinatra.
Ron was very involved in his church and community. He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Augustine’s and at St. Anthony’s where he also taught Faith Formation (CCD). He was a member of The Sons of Italy and chairman of the Traffic Commission in North Adams.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Emily Sacco; his brother, Anthony Sacco, Jr. and his sister Adeline Plavetzky.
Ron is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn; his daughters, Catherine (Dean) Poplaski, Julieanne (Robert) Butcher, grandchildren Nicholas, Justin, RJ, Brett, and Caitlyn, and great grandson, Easton.
Military honors will be presented at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 375 Sunset Drive N, Casselberry, FL 32707.
The funeral mass for Ron will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 375 Sunset Dr N, Casselberry, FL 32707 with a reception to immediately follow in the parish hall.
