

Ronald Jean Coleman, age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, in Longwood, Florida. He was born February 27, 1934 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was the oldest of 5 children born to Evelyn and Carmon Coleman.
Ron was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was recognized by the Honor Flight of Central Florida with a trip to Washington DC to visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
He was a Mason and held many positions in multiple Shrine Temples through out the Eastern United States; Beni Kedem Temple, Charleston WV, El Hasa Temple, Kentucky and OMAR Shrine Temple to name a few.
He started his “Human Resources” career with General Motors, Fisher Body Division and retired from Ashland Coal and Oil as a Vice President of Human Resources.
He will always be remembered as a die-hard fan of any Michigan Team/Sport, especially the Wolverines of Michigan.
He is survived by his wife Rosalie. Children: Debra Johnson, Kimberly Abel and Scott Coleman. Brothers: Milo, Larry (Butch) and Dan Coleman. Son-in-Laws: Scott Johnson and Joseph Abel. Sister-in- Law: Linda Coleman. Brother-in-Law: Dave Koger: Grandchildren: Ryan Roscrans (Angie), Eric Johnson (Autumn) Robert Rosacrans, Scott JR Coleman (Caroline), Katie Bennett (Tommy), Brian Cahill, Amy Allen (Sean), Brittney Abel, Joseph Abel II. Great Grandchildren: Samuel Rosacrans, Jackson Cahill, Shelby Allen, Delaney Allen, Cullen Johnson and Theodore Coleman. Brothers: Milo (Linda), Larry and Dan Coleman.
Preceded in death by daughter Colleen Cahill (Dennis), sister: Bonnie Koger (Dave), Parents: Evelyn and Carmon Coleman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Sanford FL.
