Ronald Edward Rose

Born in Portsmouth Virginia on June 10th 1949 to William Alvin Rose and Inez Perry Rose. He grew up moving around while his father served in the United States Navy. They settled in Sanford Florida where he finished high school at the Naval Academy in Sanford. Ron then proceeded to follow in his father's footsteps and joined the United States Navy. Ron served 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a flight engineer for the P-3 Orion. After retiring, he returned to Sanford, Florida to be close to his mother and raise his two daughters. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife Tina and his friends. He spent time on his boat cruising down the St. John's river.

He is survived by his wife Tina Rose, Sanford Florida, his two daughters Amanda Rose and Monica Rose, Jacksonville Florida.

His service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery on December 27th,2014 at 4:00pm. Oaklawn Cemetery is located at 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A SANFORD, FL 32771.

There will be a reception tentatively after the service in remembrance of him. The reception will be held at the Fleet Reserve located at 3040 W State Rd 46 Sanford, FL 32771.

We would like to thank our family and friends for all of your prayers and support during this difficult time. Thank you to the United States Military and Veterans of Foriegn War (VFW) for coming out to honor my dad at this service.
