OBITUARY

Rosario Arcuri

August 2, 1939January 3, 2021

Rosario Arcuri, at age 81 of Lake Mary, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep January 3, 2021. Rosario was born August 2, 1939, one of five children to Andrea and Concetta Arcuri in San Carlo, Italy. Rosario entered the United States August 5, 1961 and met his beautiful wife and bride of 54 years, Gladys Victoria Rodriguez. They met in the summer 1962 and later married February 8, 1964. They lived together in happiness and now rest together in peace.

Rosario was always force of nature, determined to work hard to provide for his family and give them everything in life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of his surviving children Concetta Lopresti, Andrew Arcuri and Rosario Arcuri Jr, always trying his best to support them in anyway.

Rosario’s expressions said it all. A passionate figure of strength that never declined in his love for his family, and who never quit, even when times were tough. He welcomed his Son-in-law Ralph and his daughter-in-law’s Janet and Kim as family treating them as his own. As a grandfather he always had unconditional love for his grandchildren: Amanda, Marissa, Tori, Andrew and Ross. We know all five grandchildren will miss him dearly; they will always carry a piece of him with them in their hearts. Watch over them as we know they will all make you proud. We will cherish the memories of our dad and grandfather, Rosario and know he is whistling away in Heaven smiling down on all of us.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Rosario Arcuri to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
